A source familiar with the situation confirmed Yandex.Taxi’s plans to enter the market of the European country. ERR also referred to the company’s vacancy for a person to support clients in Estonia.
A spokesperson for Yandex.Taxi did not disclose any details. “We’ve truly thought of the Baltic states. We launched (services) in Latvia a month ago and have no plans to stop. We’re interested in the Estonian market, but we’re not ready to go into the specifics yet,” the spokesperson said.
Services of Yandex.Taxi were used by almost 50,000 people in Riga during a month of work.
